Another master class in sleek and solid Techno from Jerome Sydenham on his right-setting Apotek label.
Upon relocating to Europe from New York in 2007, Jerome Sydenham has been a standard-bearer for a resolutely seamless and modern Techno; having created and spread the sound on a myriad of labels and with an array of major artists. However, his latest release on Apotek sees him flying solo with four tracks of varied, yet relentless Techno.
A call to all Sydenham's followers, 'Disciple Trail', guides a convoy of precision layered beats through a path of syncopated percussion. A leading example of his unique take on Techno with this tone-setter for another no-nonsense Apotek release.
Scaling the peaks of this EP, is 'Adirondack'. A vertigo inducing looper, woven with the finest production threads from Detroit, Chicago and New York.
Streamlined and sleek like river dwelling stones, 'Whitewater', flows smoothly out the speakers with a slightly more hypnotizing appeal then its A-Side counterparts.
'Whitewater In Trackmode', strips back the chords, leaving nothing, but a stealth-like stalking creeper of Techno left lurking through the passageways of the subconscious.
